Medieval Europe is a fascinating and vibrant world, deeply connected, where ideas, cultures, and knowledge were intertwined in a common fabric that laid the foundations of Western civilization, as many historians and thinkers of our time have postulated. Nilda Guglielmi (April 12, 1928 - July 30, 2024), among them, has addressed, throughout her work, different aspects of this fabric, paying special attention in an original way to the cultural, social, and political aspects of the Middle Ages. This has positioned her as an international reference for historical research and historiographical debate in the Argentine Republic and as a mentor to many of our country's medievalists
